Graham Hill - World Christianity, and Mission Born at the Margins

by The GlobalChurch Project | The GlobalChurch Project Podcast Episode 38

Liam Miller at CSU Macquarie University, interviewing Graham Hill on “Mission born at the margins challenges the usual questions, and their religious and power-based assumptions. How do we challenge western centrism in the church?”

Liam sat down with Rev Dr Graham Hill, author of “Global Church”, founder of The GlobalChurch Project, and Vice Principal of Morling Theological College.

We discuss how for too long our approaches to church, mission, and theology have been confined by western centrism. Graham walks us through how expanding our horizons, so as to learn from non-Western theologians and practitioners, will allow western Christians to reshape our conversations, renew our mission, and revitalise our churches.

We also talk about Graham’s recent pledge not to speak at conferences or on panels where women and PoC are not present, and his hope for the “average” Australian suburban church.

This interview first appeared on Liam Miller’s website, here.
