Thir Bahadur Koirala – Serving with local communities & churches to overcome poverty, suffering, & injustice
Thir Bahadur Koirala and Graham Hill discuss Micah Nepal’s ministry of serving with local churches & communities to overcome poverty, suffering, & injustice. The Global Church Project podcast episode #105
Thir Bahadur Koirala has been the Coordinator for Micah Nepal since 2009. He ministered as a pastor for about 8 years in one of the Churches in eastern Nepal. While ministering as a pastor he was also involved with a Christian organization which included 13 different Churches working for social development.
Thir lives in Kathmandu, and leads Micah Nepal from there. Micah is a movement promoting and advocating for the kingdom of God through integral mission. This involves proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ in and through their lives, demonstrating love through all they do and say in relevant practical and transformational ways, and standing and speaking out for justice and integrity throughout Nepalese society.
