Fernando Segovia and Graham Hill discuss “Helping Christians from the Global South and Global North Enter Critical and Life-giving Conversations.”

Fernando Segovia was the first President of the Society of Biblical Literature from the Global South. He travels worldwide teaching on non-Western Christian theologies, and especially theologies from Latin American and the Caribbean. He also unpacks the shape of minority Christian theologies in the West, and especially from Hispanic-Americans. As a cultural critic, his interests include postcolonial and minority and Diaspora studies. Professor Segovia has served on the editorial boards of many academic journals. He lectures internationally. And he’s also a past president of the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians in the United States.
